Privacy

The short version

I don’t collect, store or sell your data. My apps have no accounts, no tracking, no analytics and no advertising. Nothing you type into Piggy is sent to me, and there is no server of mine for it to be sent to.

Who I am

Quiet Craft Studio is run by me, Maciej Kobylański, in Poland. I am the controller of any personal data described below. You can reach me at support@quietcraftstudio.co.

Your data in Piggy

Everything you enter — transactions, budgets, categories, notes — is stored on your device.

If you have iCloud enabled, that data also syncs through your own Apple Account so it is available on your other Apple devices and survives a change of phone. This sync happens between you and Apple. The data sits in your iCloud, under your Apple Account, and I have no access to it, no key to it and no way to read it. Apple’s handling of iCloud is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You can turn iCloud sync off in your device settings, in which case your data stays on that device only.

• No account and no sign-up.
• No analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting services.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party SDKs that collect data.

Buying the app

Purchases happen in the App Store, between you and Apple. I never see your name, email address, payment details or Apple Account. Apple gives me sales reports containing only aggregate numbers, such as how many copies were sold in a given country.

This website

This site is a set of static files. It sets no cookies, loads no fonts or scripts from other companies, and runs no analytics. Nothing about your visit is recorded by me. The site is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard technical request data in order to serve the page.

If you write to me

When you email support, I receive your message and your email address, and I keep them for as long as needed to answer you and to understand recurring problems. I don’t add you to any mailing list and I don’t pass your message on to anyone.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. In practice this concerns only email you have sent me, since I hold nothing else about you. Write to support@quietcraftstudio.co and I will handle it myself. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

My apps are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect any data from them — or, for that matter, from anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. Where a change is significant, I will say so in the app’s release notes.
