Quiet Craft Studio

Terms of use

Effective from 10 October 2026

The short version

You buy Piggy once, in the App Store — no subscription. It works things out from what you enter, keeps your data on your device and in your own iCloud, and never connects to your bank. Nothing on this page takes away the rights you have as a consumer.

Who I am

Piggy is made by me, Maciej Kobylański, as an individual in Poland. Quiet Craft Studio is the name I use for this website and my apps, not a separate company — in the App Store, the developer is shown as Maciej Kobylanski. You can reach me at support@quietcraftstudio.co. My full contact details, including a postal address and phone number, are shown on Piggy’s App Store page in EU countries.

Buying Piggy

Piggy (in the App Store as “Piggy – Budget Assistant”) is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, nothing to buy inside the app, no advertising and no account to create.

You buy it in Apple’s App Store, at the price the store shows in your country. Apple takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles refunds — to ask for one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Apple’s license agreement

Your use of Piggy is covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for App Store apps. Apple wrote it, but the license is between you and me. Where these terms are more favorable to you than that agreement, these terms apply.

What Piggy is — and what it isn’t

Piggy is a tool for keeping your own budget. It works out balances, forecasts and summaries from what you enter yourself. It does not connect to your bank and knows nothing you haven’t typed in, so its numbers are only as complete as what you put into it.

Piggy is not financial, tax or investment advice. For decisions that matter — a loan, your taxes, investing — talk to your bank or a qualified adviser.

Your data

What you enter stays on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, it also syncs through your own iCloud, under your Apple Account, to your other devices. There is no server of mine that your data goes to, and I have no access to it. The details are in the Privacy policy.

Updates

Updates are free for everyone who has Piggy and arrive through the App Store. They are how fixes reach you, so it’s worth keeping the app up to date.

When something goes wrong

If Piggy doesn’t work as it should, write to support@quietcraftstudio.co. The Support page answers the most common questions and says what to include in your message. I read every message myself and reply within 14 days at the latest. You can also ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, for example if I can’t fix the problem.

If you find a security vulnerability, please report it as described on the Security page.

Your rights as a consumer

As a consumer, you have rights that no terms can take away. Under Polish, EU and UK law they include the right to an app that works as described and as you can reasonably expect. Neither these terms nor Apple’s license agreement can limit those rights. If a sentence here ever seems to say otherwise, the law wins.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by Polish law. Apple’s license agreement has its own rule on which law applies to it. Whichever law applies, if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

If we ever disagree about something, please write to me first; most things can be sorted out by email. That does not affect your right to go to court or to get free help from a consumer body, for example the European Consumer Centre in your EU country or, in Poland, your local consumer ombudsman.

This website

This site tells you about my apps. Nothing is sold here, and you don’t have to accept anything to read it. If you spot something out of date, please let me know.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date. A change will never make them less favorable to you than the version that applied when you got Piggy. Where a change is significant, I will also mention it in the release notes of the next update. This version applies from 10 October 2026.
